11) Limitation of liability


We do not keep hold of lost Items. Our liability is limited only to compensatory cover that has been chosen by the Owner at the start of the recovery process and subject to the postal service or courier agreeing to compensate Us for Items lost in the post or via courier. This does not apply to Items that are not returned by the Finder. It is the Finders responsibility to return Items according to our instructions. We may pass on the Finders details to the police for suspected theft if they fail to return an Item.


We, the Service, do not keep hold of lost Items and cannot accept any liability for any Item that is recovered through our Service. If We are unable to deliver an Item that has been recovered through our Service to its Owner, we will either (a) recommend that the Finder hands it over a local lost property office or to the police, or (b) we will hand the item over to a lost property office or to the police ourselves if it is in our possession.

In no event shall We, our licensors or suppliers, be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential punitive or multiple damages, resulting from the use or the inability to use our Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use or loss of data even if We, our licensors or suppliers, have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, We shall have no liability to you or other third parties for any third party content uploaded onto or downloaded from our Service nor shall We be liable for any losses occurring as a result of failure to deliver any part of our Service.

If an Item that has been recovered is lost during transit through fault of a courier or the postal service, We will attempt to recover compensation from the courier up to the value you have specified for the Item when the recovery fee was paid. If we successfully recover the compensation, We will pass this on to you. Please allow at least 56 days from when the Item was posted in order to confirm and process any transportation losses. We cannot forward any courier compensation payments until We have received them. Your recovery fee is non-refundable as per clause 8.1. By using our service you agree that We do not in any way have ownership of any of your items nor can We be held responsible for them under any circumstance. If items are handed to a lost property office or to the police, We are not obliged to give you any details.
