What if my item gets damaged during recovery?

We try to ensure your item is as well protected as possible at every stage of the recovery process. If it is damaged when you get it back, there may be several reasons why and we can't offer any guaranty that it will be returned in the condition it was in before you lost it.

Whose liability?

A lost item may have exchanged several hands before it is recovered. It could have been subjected to physical damage too in various ways. As a result, it is impossible to know how it's been handled. We can't be held responsible for any damages that occur to items during the recovery process but where the damage is clearly as a result of poor handling by the postal service or courier, we'll attempt to get compensation for you as per section 8.2 of our Terms of Use.
